Well, it’s mid April here in Southern Florida, what some people call the ‘Low Season’  The only thing ‘low’ about this time of year is the rates for our vacation home rentals.  The weather is the best of the whole year, low humidity and pleasant temperatures.  This week for example, I don’t think it has gotten near 85 degrees, and the windows are open to allow in the swaying breeze.  The hum of air conditioners has been silent for weeks.  It’s not cold — it’s one perfect tropical day after another.  The snow birds have flown home, beach parking is easy, and there are no lines at our local restraints.

Why rent a sterile hotel room and share you swimming pool with dozens of others, unattended children ‘Hey mom watch this,” clouds of cigarette smoke and constantly circling ‘waiters,’ when you can have our own private pool, heated to 88 degrees and full home to go with it? 

With our short minimum night stays , now is the time to take a long weekend break before summer sets in. We have options ranging from three bedroom pool homes to studio apartments, from private pools and spas, to community pools shared by only four units in a certified butterfly habitat.  Airfrares to Florida have dipped too, so isn’t it time for you dip into your private pool?
